A School Community Based on Relationships...

REAL Kids and REAL Families

Our Day School community is a place for relationships. The relationship children have with each other, with the family, with the teachers, with the environment of the school, with the community and with the wider society, all form a web for action.

Parents are important partners in their children’s education and, therefore, in our program. We want each child and their family to feel known and included. Our families presence contributes fundamentally to our school community, so we maintain an open-door policy at all times.

We encourage communication between home and school through daily parent-teacher communications, newsletters, interactive family workshops, along with biannual parent-teacher conferences.

We value collaboration among everyone and welcome different points of view. From emerging and on-going school initiatives and traditions, to opportunities to be involved with the church and its other missions.  We hope you also value our commitment to creating a community together.

"R.O.O.T.S"- Raising our own together in service

Our parents, guardians and relatives of the children who want to become involved in the life of the school. The ROOTS group meets throughout the year to plan school wide events and give input on issues that affect staff, families and the church.  This group supports the mission of both the school and church through the “ACTS” family collaboration program.
